Halloween Special

Boo!

I love this time of year and I tend to go a little over the top with the Halloween decorations, but I just cannot help myself.

Today I added the finishing touches to my decorations with my Jack O' Lanterns, we had so much fun carving these.

However, I do not think they will frighten very many people, do you?

Prom Dress

Hi

I know, I know, it has been ages since I last posted anything.  Sorry!

I have recently been making a lot of cards with my 2 year old.  He loves it, especially playing with the glitter!  However, I managed to make this card once he was safely asleep in bed.  This gorgeous dress image is from Fairydoodler and is called Short Prom.

I coloured it with Promarkers and added gems and pins. The  backing paper etc are all from my stash.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Crafty Boots Challenge - One (one image)

Bea in the Meadow

Good afternoon.

I hope that you are well.  I have been very busy this week, getting all the housework and shopping done so we can enjoy this Bank Holiday weekend.

I have a quick post to make today.

This gorgeous Teddy Bo & Co design is called Bea in the Meadow.  I really enjoyed colouring this image with my Promarkers.

This lovely shaped card by Craftwork Cards I got from the Crafty Boots on-line shop.  The gold card is from my stash and the leaves I made using a Spellbinder die.

Have a fun weekend.

Katie.

What a Jolly Driver

Hi

What a miserable day it is here, just the sort of day to stay home and make cards.

I really love Teddy Bo & Co images and this is one of my favourites, it is called What a Jolly Driver.

I have coloured Jolly and his car with Promarkers and mounted it on papers from my stash and added a few peel-offs.

The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards, which I bought from the Crafty Boots on-line shop.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

2 Today

Hi

I have just made a very quick card for a 2 year old.

This decoupage came from a Daisy and Dandelion kit but I am not sure whether this is Onion or Pickle.

What a Jolly Bow

Hi

It's been quite a while since I posted anything but this month I have a lot of family birthday's so I have been busy card making over the last week of so.

I just have time to post one card and I have chosen this fun Teddy Bo & Co image.  I used Promakers to colour it.

I'll be back soon to post the others.

All Dressed Up in Red and Green

Hi

It's been a while since I posted any cards but, with one thing and another, life has been quite hectic recently.  However, I managed to find a little time for myself the other day and made a card.

With a little help (well, quite a lot of help really) from my friend Stephanie-Emma, I recently discovered Promarkers and I have been practising with them.  I am quite pleased with how this image of Sugar Nellie's Posy Pip came out, isn't she sweet with her big sunflower?

The paper and embellishments are from my stash and the card came from Crafty Boots.

Liebster Blog Award

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. I hope you are all well?

I was recently very surprised but also really delighted to have been given the Liebster Blog Award

by my good friend Dionne over at Dee's Craft Room.  Dionne is into a variety crafts, including card making and scrapbooking and I urge you to pop over to her blog and take a look at some of her work.

The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge of these blogs and encourage others to become followers.

"Liebster" in German means "dearest", so as part of the Liebster Blog Award tradition, I am going to pass this award to 5 blogs that I value, and that have both inspired and motivated me.

Re-cycled Candles

Here ares some re-cycled candles I have made.

They are not perfect but I have reused oil-burner Tarts that have been used and lost their perfume (mostly Yankee Candle Tarts).  I mixed my left over Tart wax together then added wax dye to colour them.  I dipped my wicks and poured one colour into the mould.  I then had to wait for the wax to dry before adding the next colour.

I love the affect of the green underneath.
