Making a List

Merry Christmas

Well, the big day is almost here and what isn't done now just isn't going to be done.

I have my final card from the Stampin' Up Workshops run by Stephanie-Emma.  I had a wonderful time and I made all of my Christmas cards there.  We made 60 cards in all, it was hard work but I had such a wonderful time.

Have you noticed that each card seems to be getting more and more complex?  I love this card.

I started by  stamping this really jolly Father Christmas image on to the white card using gold ink.  Next, I cut a circle from it on the Big Shot, I also cut another circle in red card, slightly larger than the white one.

Then I cut a white mat of card and added the chevron of paper, next I stamped the sentiment - using two different colours.  Finally, I stuck the topper onto the card.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Hi, Ho, Ho

Good morning

The big day is almost here, are you ready yet?  Me neither.

I have another of the cards I made at one of Stephanie-Emma's recent Stampin' Up Workshops to show you today.

I started this card by stamping this Father Christmas image in two colours onto the white card.  Next, I cut it out using the Big Shot, I also cut a circle in red card.  Then I ran a white mat through the Big Shot in an embossing folder.

Finally, I stamped the 'Ho, ho, ho' sentiment and tucked it behind the red circle and I used some washi tape and layered the whole thing up.

Christmas Star

Hi fellow bloggers

I should like to show you another of the cards I made at one of Stephanie-Emma's recent Stampin' Up Workshop.

I made this card on dove grey card.  First I stamped this beautiful star onto white card and then added the smaller snowflakes around the edge - I added some crystal gems to the centre of the snowflakes.  Next I stamped 'Joy to the World' over the star.  I mounted the design on dark blue card before adding to the grey card.

A Snowflake with a Difference

Good morning

I am back today to share with you another of the cards I made at one of Stephanie-Emma's recent Stampin' Up Workshops.

I used a snowflake die to punch a snowflake shaped hole in some grey card.  I then embossed a larger snowflake shape around the hole (I am afraid this does not show very well in my photograph).  Next I stamped 'Christmas Wishes' onto the card before tying some silver ribbon around the card.  Before attaching the grey card to the Christmas card, I placed a Stampin' Up paper behind the snowflake shaped hole.

Christmas Wreath

Hi

I am back today to share with you another of the cards I made at Stephanie-Emma's Stampin' Up Workshop.

This is the next card we made at the workshop.

I stamped the wreath and added some red glitter glue for the berries.  Whilst that was drying I stamped out the Christmas tags and mounted them on red card.  These were tied to a bow made of red seam binding.

As with the last card, I made ten cards of this design.

Merry Christmas

Hi

I know, I know, it has been ages since I last posted anything but life with a young family leaves very little me time.  But that does not mean that I have lost my love of crafting and I was recently given the opportunity to go to one of Stephanie-Emma's Stampin' Up Workshops.

We made 60 cards in all - ten of each of six designs.  This is the first card I made.

I punched a tree from three different shades of green card and stuck them to the card.  I then stamped 'Merry Christmas' under the row of trees.  It is a very simple design but, I think you will agree, it is very effective.

Dressmaker Bea

Hi

A few days ago my mum had a birthday.  We had a wonderful day together, the weather could have been better but at least it is improving.

Here is the card I made for her.

The image is from Teddy Bo and is called Dressmaker Bea.  After colouring the image with Promarkers I mounted it on card from my stash and added some embellishments and lace.
